I have played my warrior the most but my favorite is a tie between Necro and Mesmer. It was tough to decide between those two. It si too bad the players as a whole do not understand the mesmers or I think there would be a lot more out there.

Paragon was my favorite until the AR nerf.
Now the Assassin is my PvE favorite again
followed by the Monk.
followed by the Ritualist.
followed by the Mesmer.
followed by the Dervish.
followed by the Ranger
followed by the Necromancer
followed by the Warrior
followed by the Elementalist, (I hate playing nuker, but I love playing an Ice or an Air mage)

I have 10 PvE characters.

I would definitely agree that my PvE Necromancer is the most fun and versitile character class to play. My necro has got 2,619 hrs and is currently sneaking up on 30 million xp. Anet has hit necromancers pretty hard several times with the nerf bat. How many remember old school MM's and original soul reaping? Even with the changes necromancers continue to be arguably the most versitile class in the game.

Out of all of the professions I've played, my favourite is the Mesmer. I enjoy being enigmatic and prefer to do things in more subtle ways, and I found that the more direct and sometimes "in your face" methods that the other professions prefer to use wasn't really my thing.

Maybe nobody else in the team understands what I'm doing exactly or how I do it, but what they do understand is that killing things and staying standing is somehow easier when I'm around. And that's more than enough for me.

As many of the above, i've tryed all classes, always end up deleting many of them. but the ones i've always keep is Ranger, Warrior, Monk and Necro.

Completly tired of the Ranger atm.
Warrior is great but a bit classic, everyone loves them etc. :P
Necro has a certain charm, but there is something about him i dislike..
Finally Monk, My personal favorite, The solo farming ( sure there is the rit, asassin, ele etc. everyone can solofarm somehow ) but the monk is still the best in most situations. Then the gameplay, you have to focus alot otherwise you get your party wiped.

Sry for didnt' make any point in the above, So here it is, my favorite would be Monk

I have played a few proffesions, but i always end up going back to my ele ^^

Nuking, tanking, spiking, shutting down i love it :-)

the runner up would be my monk though, If i get fed up of being a dmg dealer and want to do something a little different, i go play on my monk and heal/prot etc works great :-)

for me its my ele hands down. He gets all the good stuff including armor dyed black etc. And he gets me all that money back and then some. Also, he was my first character and I haven't deleted him since.

Gotta be the Mesmer for me followed closely by the Assassin. The way I see it, other classes have a noble purpose: causing the first problems for the enemy (Warriors, Elementalists, Rangers, Necromancers and Dervishes) or solving your team's problems (Monk, Ritualist, Paragon). I feel, however, that the point of Mesmers and Assassins is to take the enemy's problems and make them much, much worse by either taking away their options (Mesmers making it hurt to do anything) or remove the enemy team's problem-solvers (Assassins going after the casters and healers).

My favorite is definitely Assassin. Most fun out of all professions. I have played all professions and have 6 of them at lvl 20.

Monks are pretty fun in pugs and stuff.

Professions where you don't have to weapon swap and can just c-space. laziness ftw

Ranger by far. Real survivable. Don't believe me? Talk to Reyna in the Prophecies end game screen where you get Deldrimor weapons.
